Eco-literacy, sustainable development, and climate action through education.<\/h1>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Climate change is an education challenge as much as an environmental one. Our work spans four connected areas \u2014 eco-literacy, sustainable development, green education, and climate action \u2014 building the literacy, skills, and habits that communities need to participate in the green transition, not just understand it.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

THE CHALLENGE<\/p>

The climate transition needs educators, too.<\/h2>

The EU has committed to climate neutrality by 2050, but the human side of that transition is lagging the technical one. Citizens \u2014 especially adults outside formal education \u2014 often lack the basic eco-literacy needed to participate meaningfully in green policy, green careers, or green everyday choices.<\/p>

Without inclusive climate education, the green transition risks deepening existing inequalities: those with the resources and education to adapt will benefit, while those without will be left behind. A just transition requires reaching everyone \u2014 with the knowledge, skills, and practical tools to take part.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
