OUR STORY
Built in Greece. Working across Europe.
Active Citizens Partnership was founded in 2009 in Sapes — a town in the Region of East Macedonia and Thrace, in northern Greece. From the start, our work has been grounded in the conviction that real social change requires both local action and European cooperation.
Over fifteen years we have grown into a trusted partner for European-funded projects across inclusion, digital learning, climate education, gender equality, and democratic participation. Today we operate from an office in Athens, coordinate consortia across the EU, and continue programmes in Thrace and throughout Greece.
What unites our work is a commitment to empowering people — giving individuals and communities the skills, tools, and knowledge to participate fully in social, economic, and political life.
A SPECIAL FOCUS
Pioneering AI in education since 2018.
Long before AI became a mainstream conversation, we were already developing frameworks, curricula, and competence tools to help educators teach with — and about — artificial intelligence.
European AI competence framework for adult and vocational educators.
AI integration in teacher training and classroom practice.
Using recipes to develop a positive mindset and practical skills on using AI tools and applications.
